"THE IRON WALL" – WE AND THE ARABS      In 1923, Zee'v Jabotinsky, one of the most active Zionists at that time, wrote an article in which he tried to express his point of view regarding the conflict between the Jews and the Arabs over the land of Israel/Palestine, and the way to fulfill the Zionism according to his vision. This article, "The Iron Wall – We and the Arabs", is one of the most known article regarding Zionism and the Israeli-Arab conflict up until today. For some people, parts of it are considered relevant today, as they were more than 80 years ago, despite the enormous changes this piece of land had gone through.
     The Article has a simple gist – it claims that the Israeli-Arab conflict can not be solved by a willingness agreement. The reason for that, according to Jabotinsky, is the Arab's wish and hopes to expel the Jews out of this land and to build an Arab state. The Jews, on the other hand, sees this land as their historical homeland, and wish to build the state of Israel.
To clarify his statement, Jabotinsky declare that the aims of the Jews, to build the state of Israel, are totally peaceful, and they do not want to expel the Arabs. But Jabotinsky doubt whether those peaceful aims can be achieved through peaceful means……
