What is to be understood by the term “Terrorism’?  What should and/or what can be done about terrorism?  This essay will answer the first question by giving definitions of terrorism and will then give examples of types of state terrorism namely, military, state-sponsored, and regime terrorism, and of non-state terrorism namely, nationalists and religious terrorism.  This essay will then continue by answering the second question and giving examples of armed and non-armed ways of dealing with it drawing its main examples from Israel and its dealing with terrorism.  This essay will then conclude with a summery of what was said and final conclusions.
