Burnout at work can be very harmful to both sides, the employee and the working place.
I began working when I was 20 as a secretary and was promissed part of accounts and collections as well. I had very high hopes and worked over time, doing my best.
As time passed, there was no promotion of any kind, I worked hard with no gain. I felt frusrrated and my attitude towarks my fellow workers and customers was not the same. I did not make any effords to excel, jest "did my job". I began thinking about going elsewhere.
