2.   a. Quote a sentence from the first or last paragraph which confirms your answer        to question 1a.
"Within 50 years, the world's population could be in free fall"        b. "fertility rates are plunging because women have decided they want to become            more like men … .To change that, men must … start to become more like        women." (last paragraph).        What do you think the author means when he writes        "women have decided they want to become more like men":           I think that he means to say that they now prefer to focus and invest time on mainly one aspect of their life,  their career for instance, and not be torn between 3 "jobs" – being a wife, a mother, and a worker. They are fed up form trying to do it all.
"men must … start to become more like women":
Meaning that men must take on themselves what is still considered women's roles in order to lessen the burden on women, and make it easier for them to bring babies into this world.
